Don't Call Me an Artist

Banksy Hits San Francisco – Chinatown Peace and Love

Peace and Love... Equals Healthcare?

Banksy hit San Francisco last night.

There's been speculation that he's in town for his movie premiere, Exit Through The Gift Shop. I was fortunate enough to see a pre screening of the movie, and it damn near changed my life. Seriously, it's one of the best movies I've seen in months, and convinced me to go all in on this fantastic art adventure.

This tag is at the corner of Grant St. and Commercial St. Get there fast before it's painted over. There's also another in the Mission, at 17th St. and Valencia, but I haven't gotten down there yet. If anyone has any photos, send them my way. I'd love to see them.

  1. Great pics. I love the detail here, particularly in the last two shots.

FYI, the other Banksy is on Valencia between 19th and 20th, at Little Otsu.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing. I am going to try and ride my bike down to see this early tomorrow morning before work. I am from Bristol originally and I saw his Exit Through the Giftshop exhibition last Summer when I was visiting my family.

  3. This is opposite Eastern Bakery, right?
